Can I use this on a regular phone line or must I connect it to internet?

A: 
This is an IP phone and it will connect to your IP service provider as long as it's on their capability list.  No IP phone will work if you just plug into the internet as it need to connect to a provider so it will have a phone number etc.    Please give us a call at 877-300-7557 Option 1 for a Provider quote if you have a need for 2 or more phones.
