Adtran offers several lines of Integrated Access Devices (IADs) but we're focusing here on the ATLAS and Total Access lines.

The ATLAS series is a line of products designed for ISDN conversion and switching. It supports video conferencing, T3 applications and circuit grooming. The ATLAS is available in 2 platforms. The ATLAS 550 supports 1 to 18 T1/PRI circuits and the ATLAS 830 supports up to 34 T1/PRI's. The ATLAS 890 supports up to 64 T1/PRI or a T3. The Adtran ATLAS is the perfect product for adding PRI onto legacy phone systems like the Siemens phone system. It's also commonly used for installing T1 into Cisco systems that only support PRI natively.
